If you are currently using Open Mod Manager version 1.1.x or below, please consider the following elements before installing any 1.2.x version. The 1.2 version introduce substantial changes in various aspect both at system wide and application level and may requiere special attention :

1. Uninstall version 1.0.x or 1.1.x before installing any 1.2.x version

Since version 1.2, some installation resources are removed while other are added and default files associations changed. to prevent inconsistant files associations, orphan registry keys and residual non-uninstallable files, uninstall any installed 1.0.x or 1.1.x version before installing any 1.2.x version.

2. Make a backup of your existing Modding Hub folders

The 1.2 version introduce new configuration structures and will automatically migrate/convert any opened Modding Hub to the new structure. Therefore, any Mod Hubs opened by Open Mod manager version 1.2 or greater will become incompatible and unusable for any version of Open Mod manager prior to 1.2. The migration process is robust but since nothing is infailible, if you are currently using Open Mod Manager version 1.1.x or below, it is redommanded to uninstall all currently installed Mods and making a backup of your Modding Hubs "home" directories before opening them with Open Mod Manager version 1.2 or greater.
